Alloway Village Hall is an historic building in the heart of Burns’ country. Situated opposite Robert Burns’ birthplace the hall was originally opened in 1849 as the local village school and remained as such until the new school was opened in 1896. Since then the hall has remained at the heart of the community and is regularly used by local groups from Bonsai to SWI to Pilates. If you would like to find out more about the history of the hall and local life in Alloway then please see our History section.
